Once we contacted you and have determined the correct group / lesson, you can register yourself and/or your child (ren). Below you will find the tuition fees per category and the link to our online application form.
This is an annual program held on 34 Saturdays, starting the 2nd Saturday in September and ending early June. Click here for the school calendar.
On-site classes are held on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12:15pm.
Tuition fee for the whole school year is $1,275 per child. If your company pays the tuition, the annual fee is $1,900 per child.
There is a 5% discount for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th child each.
Tuition can be paid either in one single payment with a 5% discount, or in 5 installments of $255 (or $380 if your company pays) each.
There is a one-time registration fee of $95 for new families.
There is a $45 fee per student for educational materials.

Primary and Secondary education - online group lessons
This is an annual program consisting of 34 classes, starting mid September and ending early June.
Classes are held on weekdays after regular school and last between 1 and 1.5 hours (depending on level and age).
Tuition for the whole school year is $1,275. If your company pays tuition, the annual fee is $1,900 per child.
There is a 5% discount for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th child each.
Tuition can be paid either in one single payment with a 5% discount, or in 5 installments of $255 (or $380 if your company pays) each).
For primary education there is a $45 fee per student for educational materials. For secondary education there is a $135 per student fee for the online system for the entire school year.

Learn Dutch as a Second Language for children - online group lessons
This is a course held over 2 semesters of 17 classes each. The 1st semester is from September 19 until the end of January, and the 2nd semester from February to the beginning of June. Registration for one single semester is optional.
Tuition is $660 per semester. If your company pays the tuition, the fee for 1 semester is $1,000 per child. For the 4-6 year olds tuition is $510 as this is a 45 minute class.
Tuition for 1 semester can be paid either in one single payment with 5% discount (total of $627) or in 2 installments of $330. Tuition for our 4-6 year olds is $485 if paid in one single payment or in 2 installments of $255.
There is a 5% discount for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th child each.
We offer classes during the week after regular school (around 4-5 pm mostly) and sometimes on Saturday mornings as well.
Our classes are between 1 and 1.5 hours, depending on the number of students. Our groups are small, with a minimum of 3 and a maximum 5 or 6 students (depending on the age group).
We offer the following groups: 5-7 years olds, 8-11 years olds and 10-15 year olds, 16+. For adults classes see below.
We offer classes at various levels: from beginner to intermediate and advanced.

Dutch for Adults - online group lessons
This is a course held over 2 semesters of 17 classes each. The 1st semester is from 19 September to the end of January, and the 2nd semester from February to the beginning of June. Registration for one single semester is optional.
Tuition is $660 per semester. If your company pays the tuition, the fee is $1,000 per semester.
Tuition for 1 semester can be paid either in one single payment with a 5% discount (total of $627) or in 2 installments of $330.
There is a 5% discount for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th family members.
Classes are held on weekday evenings at 7.30 pm (Monday through Thursday).
These classes are between 1 and 1.5 hours, depending on the number of students.
Students will use an online learning system. Costs are $50 per level.
We offer classes at various levels: from beginner to intermediate.

Online private and semi-private lessons
Times and days of private and semi-private lessons are determined in consultation with the teacher.
The price of a private lesson is $70 per hour, and for a semi-private lesson $55 per hour per student. The hourly rate for parent/child classes is $75 in total.
The adult education students work with an online system. Costs are $50.
In case you need to cancel a class you are requires to let your teacher know between 12-24 hours in advance otherwise you will be charged for the class. If you want to stop taking private or semi-private classes you are required to inform the school at least 48 hours in advance otherwise you will be charged for the class.

Payment
We accept different payment methods. You can indicate on the registration form whether you wish to pay by Zelle, ACH (Bank Transfer) or credit card:
Payment using Zelle. This option is free and does not have an additional transaction fee. In order to pay with Zelle, please indicate on the registration form which email address you used to register your Zelle account with your bank. You will receive a payment request through Zelle.
Payment using ACH (direct bank debit). We charge a 1% transaction fee to cover our cost when you choose this option. Payment will take place through Quickbooks/Intuit.
Payment using credit or debit card. We charge a 3% transaction fee to cover our cost when you choose this option. You will receive a link to a secure website to enter your card info for payment. In the past credit card payments were processed through Paypal, but this year they will be through Chase.

Tuition includes
Introductory interview and determination of level and group.
Full school program from September to early June.
Weekly homework.
Method-related tests and/or regular Dutch "Cito" tests.
Use of the same teaching methods as in the Netherlands.
For some groups: access to digital practice software.
Access to our own physical and digital library with hundreds of titles.
Free membership of the online library of Amsterdam.
Accreditation and inspection by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
Optional access to and preparation for annual CNaVT examinations.
Cultural events: Dutch Children's Book Week, St. Nicholas party, ice skating, King's Day games, cultural days at the schools, camping, Dutch events like the Dutch/American heritage day (November in San Diego), Holland Festival (September in Long Beach), etc.
Contacts with other Dutch children and adults.
